Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail engineer to design water and wastewater treatment systems. You will produce sketches for P&IDs, fabrication, equipment layout, and pipe routing, and perform sizing, hydraulic calculations, and pipe stress analyses.

You will liaise with the in-house design team to meet deliverables, participate in value engineering, evaluate vendor quotes, and support bids, construction, and commissioning activities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in water and wastewater design.
• Motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Experience in construction, testing & commissioning, and operation of water & wastewater plant is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with MS SharePoint, MS Teams and Navisworks; AutoCAD & SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketches on P&IDs drawing.
• Prepare sketches on fabrication drawings.
• Prepare sketches on equipment layout drawings.
• Prepare sketches on pipe routing drawings.
• Perform sizing calculations and hydraulic calculations.
• Perform pipe stress analysis and material take‑off.
• Raise purchase requisitions and sign off on engineering design.
• Coordinate with in-house design team to meet deliverables.
• Support bids, construction, and commissioning activities as required.
