Job summary

Hydroleap, a Singapore-based deep tech startup, seeks an experienced Process Engineer to design, optimize, and automate manufacturing processes for water treatment solutions. You will lead cross-functional projects, develop PFDs/P&IDs, and implement control plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will collaborate with R&D, Operations, and suppliers while applying process simulation and data analytics to stay ahead of industry trends and drive sustainable, scalable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and technology.
• Ability to analyze process data and identify optimization opportunities.
• Experience with process simulation.
• Ability to develop PFD & P&ID independently.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience in water treatment industry is a plus.
• Passion for sustainability and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to optimize processes.
• Lead process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Business Development, Operations and suppliers to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&ID, PFD, FAT, O&M Manuals, etc.
• Develop and implement process control plans to ensure consistent product quality and reduce defects.
• Evaluate and select new equipment and technology to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide technical support to production teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in process engineering and apply them to improve manufacturing processes.
