Job summary

Element Construction Testing (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an Associate Chemist to perform water and wastewater analysis in our environmental laboratory. You will operate and maintain analytical instruments, prepare samples and ensure data quality in line with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, instrument troubleshooting and timely reporting of results, with opportunities to contribute to method development and QC processes.

Qualifications

Diploma/ degree in Chemistry or related discipline required.
Hands-on experience with analytical instruments is preferred.
Experience in water/wastewater or environmental labs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Perform chemical analysis of water, wastewater and environmental samples.
Operate and maintain analytical instruments and ensure calibration completeness.
Ensure results are accurate, traceable and in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.
Prepare calibration standards, reagents and QC samples.
Review data and generate test reports with clear documentation.
Assist in method implementation, verification and validation.
Support laboratory operations and safety practices.
