Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Waste Management Specialist with a Diploma or higher in Environmental Science or Engineering to ensure NEA compliance and drive improvements. Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in waste management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of waste management facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement waste management plans, policies, and procedures to improve waste handling and recycling practices.
• Monitor and analyse waste data to identify areas for improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Laboratory teams to ensure proper internal and external waste handling in line with NEA requirements.
• Train employees on proper waste handling, storage, segregation, and disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of waste activities, permits, inspections, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, support environmental audits, and develop corrective action plans for any compliance gaps.
• Keep updated on waste management regulations and industry best practices, recommending improvements and supporting ad hoc compliance activities.
