Job summary

The National Environment Agency (NEA) in Singapore is seeking a role within the Division of Public Cleanliness to drive the Environmental Sanitation Regime by conducting inspections and leading a team of auditors. You will plan resource deployment, oversee ESR compliance, and engage stakeholders to achieve programme outcomes.

A strong emphasis on teamwork and meticulous inspection practices will be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Meticulous, well-organised and able to multitask.
• Outgoing and approachable with a pleasant disposition.
• Mature, independent and resourceful for complex situations.
• Self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections across ESR-specified premises.
• Plan and manage deployment of resources for inspections.
• Oversee audit and inspection activities to ensure ESR compliance.
• Assess findings and decide on enforcement actions for non-compliance.
• Engage stakeholders to support ESR programme outcomes.
• Manage feedback relating to ESR premises in a timely manner.
