Job summary

Bok Seng Logistics Pte Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise inbound/outbound, storage and cargo-handling activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Responsibilities include planning manpower and space, updating WMS records, and coordinating with customers and internal teams. A Diploma in Logistics with 3+ years supervisory experience is required; forklift licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics or related field.
• At least 3 years in warehouse/logistics with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and cargo handling.
• Familiar with WMS and Excel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to support overtime, weekends or public holidays when required.
• Forklift licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Verify receiving, delivery, collection and cargo-movement documents.
• Ensure WMS transactions and inventory records are updated promptly.
• Conduct toolbox briefings and assign daily duties; monitor attendance and productivity.
• Coordinate with customers, transporters, drivers, warehouse coordinators and internal departments.
• Support cycle counts and stock takes; investigate discrepancies and issues.
• Enforce procedures, customer requirements, housekeeping and safety practices.
• Report incidents, near misses and non-conformances; follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor performance and support continuous improvement activities.

Job Purpose

To supervise daily warehouse operations and manpower, ensuring inbound, outbound, storage, inventory and documentation activities are completed safely, accurately and on time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily inbound, outbound, storage and cargo-handling activities.
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, loading bays and warehouse space according to operational requirements.
• Ensure cargo is received, checked, labelled, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Verify receiving, delivery, collection and cargo-movement documents before operational release.
• Ensure WMS transactions and inventory records are updated accurately and promptly.
• Conduct toolbox briefings, assign daily duties and monitor staff attendance, productivity and overtime.
• Coordinate with customers, transporters, drivers, warehouse coordinators and internal departments.
• Support cycle counts and stock takes, and investigate discrepancies, damages and operational issues.
• Enforce company procedures, customer requirements, housekeeping and Workplace Safety and Health practices.
• Report incidents, near misses and non-conformances, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor operational performance, prepare reports and support continuous improvement activities assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and cargo-handling procedures.
• Familiar with WMS and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Good leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, organised, safety-conscious and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to support overtime, weekends or public holidays when operationally required.
• A valid forklift licence is advantageous.
