Job summary

VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) is seeking a Warehouse Assistant (Picking) to efficiently pick, pack and prepare products for shipment, while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

You will follow packing slips, securely pack items, and maintain inventory accuracy. You’ll assist with loading/unloading deliveries, support throughput targets, and strictly follow safety procedures in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferable but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick orders according to packing slips and ensure correct items and quantities are collected.
• Pack items securely for shipment, protecting items from damage during transportation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records during picking/packing and report discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries and place items in designated storage areas.
• Support the team in achieving performance targets by maintaining productivity during picking operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
