Job summary

VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Assistant (Picking) to efficiently pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment from the warehouse. You will maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities include accurate order picking, secure packing, inventory record maintenance, warehouse cleanliness, loading/unloading deliveries, and contributing to team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferable but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy items and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick orders according to the provided packing slip and ensure that the correct items and quantities are collected.
• Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring that all items are protected from damage during transportation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records during the picking and packing process, reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, adhering to safety and operational standards.
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring the correct placement of received items in designated storage areas.
• Support the team in achieving performance targets by maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency during picking operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
