Job summary

VELA LOGISTICS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and supervise daily warehouse activities in Singapore.

You will ensure accurate inventory records, timely order fulfillment, and seamless coordination with procurement, logistics, transport, and customer service teams. The role emphasizes process improvements, safety compliance, and leadership of warehouse staff, with responsibilities across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily warehouse operations.
• Monitor receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of customer orders.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, transport, and customer service teams.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and implement process improvements.
• Supervise warehouse assistants, storekeepers, and forklift operators.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of products to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in accordance with 5S standards.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Prepare warehouse operational reports, inventory reports, and performance metrics.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities with transport providers.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
