You will coordinate with supervisors and staff, maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stock counts, document handling, and help optimize space utilisation while upholding safety procedures. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and timely execution in a fast-paced logistics

• Coordinate and monitor warehouse staff, including supervisors, storekeepers, and assistants.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Prepare delivery orders, goods received notes, and stock issue records; monitor documentation.

Job description

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations.


• Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.


• Coordinate and monitor warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, and warehouse assistants.


• Ensure accurate inventory records and proper stock control.


• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate stock discrepancies.


• Monitor incoming and outgoing materials and ensure proper documentation.


• Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers, customers, drivers, and logistics teams.


• Ensure materials are properly stored, labeled, arranged, and handled.


• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.


• Prepare and maintain delivery orders, goods received notes, stock issue records, and inventory reports.


• Assist in planning manpower allocation, work schedules, and daily warehouse activities.


• Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and storage facilities.


• Monitor damaged, missing, excess, and slow-moving stock and report to the Warehouse Manager.


• Ensure warehouse staff comply with company procedures and workplace safety requirements.


• Monitor the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, racks, and other warehouse equipment.


• Coordinate with project/site teams to ensure timely issuance and delivery of materials.


• Handle operational issues and resolve them promptly or elevate them to the Warehouse Manager.


• Assist in preparing warehouse performance and operational reports for management.
