Job summary

PENTAGON FREIGHT SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a seasoned Warehousing Manager to lead warehouse strategies and operations in Singapore. The role focuses on optimizing storage, implementing WMS-driven solutions, and coordinating across departments to improve inventory accuracy and overall logistics performance. A senior candidate with extensive freight forwarding exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management System.
• At least 10 years in Freight Forwarding Industry.
• At least 5 years managerial experience in warehousing.
• Good people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish warehouse strategies, plans and activities that support organization's objectives.
• Identify and implement solutions in warehousing.
• Optimize warehouse operations and drive value creation for clients and company.
• Maximize inventory accuracies through close collaboration with different functional groups.
• Execute cycle count program and resolve inventory variances.
• Ensure optimal warehouse space utilization.
• Participate in site workload planning and volume forecasting (staffing, equipment, space).
• Drive logistics process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety methods, practices and programs are implemented and maintained.

• Establish warehouse strategies, plans and activities that support organization's objectives.
• Able to identify and implement solutions in warehousing
• Optimizing warehouse operation and driving value creation for both clients and company
• Maximize inventory accuracies through maintaining close lines with different functional groups .
• Execution of cycle count program and resolving any inventory variances.
• Ensure optimal warehouse space optimization
• Take an active role in site workload planning and volume forecasting (i.e. staffing, equipment, space)
• Drive logistics process improvement initiatives
• Ensure safety methods, practices and programs are implemented and maintained.
