Job summary

UNITED MICROELECTRONICS CORPORATION (Singapore Branch) is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations, oversee staff, and ensure accurate inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

You will optimize storage and fulfillment processes, implement 6S, train new hires, prepare monthly KPI reports, and coordinate cross‑functionally to resolve delivery issues while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma holder with relevant experience in warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management and inventory control.
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; capable of administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of safety standards and 6S methodology.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks and schedules; supervise and evaluate staff.
• Monitor stock levels and conduct routine stock counts; reconcile records.
• Oversee goods in/out and interplant replenishment; resolve delivery issues.
• Update all warehouse transactions in the system accurately and timely.
• Prepare monthly reports (turnover, stock take, KPI) and support audits.

About the role

This role involves managing warehouse operations, staff, and inventory control. You will oversee daily warehouse activities including goods incoming and outgoing, interplant inventory replenishment, and resolve delivery issues. You will assign daily tasks, build work schedules, train new hires, and evaluate team performance. You will maintain safety standards, coordinate with other departments, and continuously improve workflows to increase storage and fulfillment efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks, build work schedules, train new hires, and evaluate team performance

• Monitor stock levels, arrange routine stock counts, and reconcile inventory records

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods incoming, outgoing, and interplant inventory replenishment

• Resolve delivery issues and assist warehouse team with warehouse duties when manpower is down

• Ensure all warehouse transactions are updated into system on time to ensure 100% tally and accuracy between physical and system

• Maintain 6S and ensure staff follow safe work procedures when performing warehouse duties, especially operating materials handling equipment

• Attend meetings and coordinate with other departments relating to warehouse operation support and issues

• Arrange for pre-audit preparation and provide presentation when required

• Identify and improve workflows continuously to increase overall storage and fulfillment efficiency

• Prepare monthly reports such as turnover, stock take, KPI and other reports as assigned by manager

Job Requirement

• Minimum Diploma Holder

• Minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience required

• Knowledge of warehouse management and materials/inventory control

• Proficient in computer operations and general administrative tasks

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong emotional intelligence, communication, and coordination skills
