Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Singapore is seeking Warehouse Assistants (Storage Officers) to support a new client project in Changi. You will help ensure smooth daily operations, meet storage deadlines, and uphold onsite warehouse safety.

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you may update the Logistics Manager when needed. Your role includes managing store records, stocktakes, procurement processing, and end-to-end material support, plus assisting with accommodation planning and venue setup for events.

Qualifications

• ITE certification required.
• Literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Medically fit for warehouse functions.
• 2+ years in Supply Chain or Logistics with stock management knowledge.
• Singaporean only due to CAT 2A security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and maintain store records in IT systems; manage physical store and stocktakes.
• Procurement processing including verification, preparation, monitoring and tracking.
• End-to-end material support using IT systems and maintaining Master Data.
• Support building/infrastructure operations: trainee accommodation, venue AV setup.
• Escort contractors entering/exiting the secured facility.

Job description

We are looking for a team of Warehouse Assistants (Storage Officers) for a newly won client project based in Changi. The selected candidates will assist in supporting smooth daily operations that will ensure project success.

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, your key responsibilities include meeting storage deadlines, onsite warehouse safety measures, and monitoring/summarizing progress of this client project. You will also assist to update reporting to the Logistics Manager if the Supervisor is unavailable.

Job Responsibilities

• Creating, monitoring, recording and maintaining of store records in the IT systems; managing physical store including the performance of stocktaking when instructed; timely indent of ration and transport; manpower support for Unit’s events/activities; and being the receiving personnel to receive goods from contractors.
• Procurement Processing, which may include verification, preparation, monitoring, and tracking
• End-to-end material support using the IT systems and maintaining the Master Data
• Supporting the building/infrastructure operations such as planning of trainee’s accommodation, and booking, scheduling, set-up of audio-visual equipment for the venue.
• Escorting contractors entering and exiting the secured facility.

Job Requirements

• Minimum ITE certification
• Literacy in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Medically fit to perform the functions stated in the scope of work
• Preferably at least two years of work experience in Supply Chain or Logistics Management with knowledge in stock management and experience in using Procurement IT Systems such as SAP
• Due to security clearance requirements up to CAT 2A, only Singaporeans can be considered for this position
