Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Warehouse Assistant I West to support production with material handling, packing, and shipping duties. The role includes operating a forklift/reach truck, maintaining 5S in the workspace, and ensuring safety and quality as per SOPs.

Responsibilities also cover receiving materials, staging for production, waste disposal, and assisting in equipment-related problem solving. Strong attention to detail and safety are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and issue raw materials to production.
• Pack and ship finished goods according to customer requirements.
• Pack and return empty cassettes to suppliers.
• Collect and dispose waste materials to assigned vendors.
• Inspect own work and verify process parameters before start.
• Notify team leader of deviations or safety concerns.
• Maintain 5S and keep the operations area clean and orderly.
• Operate forklift/reach truck to transport goods and materials around the premises.
• Ensure compliance with ISO & OH&S standard operating procedures.
• Perform work on different processes or equipment as assigned.
• Assist in basic problem-solving on processor equipment.
