Job summary

DAWN SHIPPING & TRANSPORT COMPANY (PTE) LTD is seeking personnel for day-to-day warehouse operations in Singapore. The role involves picking and packing, kitting, receiving and shipping, plus handling returns as required.

You will ensure accurate inventory records, perform barcode scanning, and assist with lines and documentation for smooth cargo shipment. Familiarity with forklift operation and basic stock control is a plus.

Qualifications

• Be responsible for day-to-day operations in warehouse: pick & pack, kitting, receiving & shipping to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-line tasks such as loading boxes, accessory insertion, barcode scanning for final shipment.
• Ensure filing of documents is completed on time and accurately.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist to verify stock discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, reach truck, stacker) and ensure maintenance.
• Maintain stock accuracy and ensure transactions are completed within the timeline.

Job description

• 1. Be responsible to support day-to-day operations in warehouse by performing pick & pack, kitting, receiving & shipping operations according to internal and external customer requirements including returns.
• 2. To ensure all inventory transaction are completed within the timeline and maintain stock accuracy.
• 3. To perform any on line tasks (i.e. loading of boxes, accessary insertion, bar-code scanning) required for final shipment of cargo, if any.
• 4. To ensure filing of documents is completed on time and accurately.
• 5. To conduct inventory count and assist to verify stock discrepancies.
• 6. Operating of warehouse equipment such as forklift, reach truck and stacker and ensure the equipment is well maintained at all times.
