Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse or logistics preferred; training provided.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with WMS or barcode scanning is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily warehouse operations including receiving, sorting, picking, packing and shipping.
• Check quantities and quality of incoming and outgoing items.
• Update inventory records in WMS or manual systems.
• Keep the warehouse area clean and organized.
• Support stock counts, cycle counts and audits.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts if trained.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Support supervisors to meet daily targets.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support daily logistics and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will handle goods receiving, picking, packing, and inventory management to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse flow. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily warehouse operations including receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.

• Check and verify the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing items.

• Ensure accurate inventory updates in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or manual records.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.

• Assist in stocktaking, cycle counts, and inventory audits.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if trained and certified).

• Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety and security guidelines.

• Support supervisors and team leads in meeting daily operational targets.

About you

• Minimum Secondary education or equivalent.

• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred (training will be provided).

• Physically fit and able to handle manual work and lifting when required.

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with WMS / barcode scanning systems an advantage.

• Responsible, punctual, and a good team player.
