Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Logistic Assistant to manage the receipt and storage of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate inventory records. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and GCE 'N' Level or higher qualification. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy packages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Logistic Assistant/Storekeeper.
• HACCP/ISO/MUIS certification is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Job description

• Inspect and verify the quantity of received goods as per Purchase/Delivery Orders, Invoices, or other relevant documentation.
• Promptly report any damage or missing items to a superior during inspection.
• Ensure that regulatory documents (e.g., from SFA, Customs) for imported goods are available upon receipt.
• Store received goods in designated areas according to their temperature requirements to maintain cold chain control when necessary.
• Accurately update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System and manual documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment through regular housekeeping.
• Assist with stock-taking and inventory counts.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by a superior.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Logistic Assistant/Storekeeper; HACCP/ISO/MUIS certification is preferred.
• GCE “N” Level or higher, with basic computer skills.
• Capable of handling heavy parcels/packages and operating heavy equipment.
