Job summary

Allied Container Group, a leading logistics and supply chain provider based in Singapore, is seeking a warehouse assistant to support receiving, storage and inventory records at the Tuas Ave 6 facility. You will receive cargo, verify counts and conditions, sort by destination, and help with general warehouse tasks.

The role requires organizing, teamwork, and following instructions, with forklift license preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be organized and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong attention to receiving and documenting cargo.

Responsibilities

• Receive cargo from incoming shipment.
• Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received.
• Segregate cargo by account or location and store properly.
• Assist in warehouse maintenance tasks including sweeping and stock putaway.
• Record receipts with proper documentation.

Job Description

• Receive cargo from incoming shipment
• Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, knowing when to either refuse or accept with notation
• Segregate cargo received by account or intended location and store in proper location
• Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, putting away stocks
• Record receipts on book with proper documentation
