Job summary

Allied Container Group is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support the distribution team in day-to-day deliveries. You will assist drivers to verify packing lists, count pallets, and move stock from the warehouse. The role requires attentiveness to detail and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with Saturday half-day as needed. Location is Tuas, with transport provided from Jurong East MRT.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy goods and handle physical tasks.
• Organized and able to follow instructions closely.
• Able to work well in a team and also independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist Drivers by checking the Packing List and pallets against deliveries.
• Help drivers draw stocks from the warehouse and verify carton's tally with Packing List.
• Monitor stock movement, check for loose goods and ensure stock checks before leaving premises.
• Coordinate with Sales for disputes; escalate to supervisor as needed.

As part of the distribution team, we are looking for Delivery Assistant to work with us. Work together with Distribution team in execution of deliveries to various customers. Take and follow instructions from Distribution Supervisor/ Controller for deliveries.

Job Description

• Assist Driversin checking the Packing List and the number of pallets is correct
• Assist Driver in checking and ensure that the total carton number match with Packing List.
• Assist Drivers in checking and drawing stocks from Warehouse
• Check any of the deliveries require collection of loose goods
• Ensure customers do stock checks before leaving the premise
• Check if there are stocks to be returned and bring them back
• In cases of direct return, call salesperson before proceeding
• All Drivers/Attendants must contact the Sales on any disputes on orders. If Sales is not contactable, contact the supervisor
