Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) in Singapore is seeking a wafer fabrication production operator to support high-quality wafer production. You will operate a variety of equipment, handle wafers, and assist with machine setups in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, monitor equipment capacity, maintain safety and housekeeping, and collaborate with technicians and engineers to address hazards.

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor / manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Willing and passionate in gain experience in Waferfab/semiconductor industry.
• Willing to perform 12-hour rotating / perm shift
• Able to work in cleanroom environment

Responsibilities

• To provide high quality wafers by operating a variety of equipment
• Responsible for the daily production activities such as wafers handling and operating perform machine setups
• Perform test wafer management tasks
• Understand and monitor capacity / target of equipment being operated
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in the production area and ensure good safety practices are maintained
• Identify potential work hazards and work with Manufacturing Technicians / AE Manufacturing Ops / Engineer Manufacturing Ops on identifying potential solutions
• Follow strict compliance to Standard Operating Procedures
