Job summary

STMicroelectronics Singapore is seeking a diligent Production Operator to support daily wafer handling, machine setups, and test wafer management in a cleanroom environment. This role emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and strict adherence to SOPs.

You will work in a rotating 12-hour shift, collaborate with Manufacturing Technicians and Engineers, and help monitor equipment capacity while maintaining high standards of quality and teamwork at our state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Relevant minimum Secondary education.
• Able to speak & understand English.
• Willingness to work in Cleanroom Environment.
• Experience with Semiconductor companies is an advantage.
• Willingness to work 12-hrs rotating shift.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Team player with clear communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to stand for long periods.
• No colour blindness or sweaty palm.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily production activities such as wafers handling and operating perform machine setups.
• Perform test wafer management tasks.
• Understand and monitor capacity / target of equipment being operated.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in the production area and ensure good safety practices are maintained.
• Identify potential work hazards and work with Manufacturing Technicians / AE Manufacturing Ops / Engineer Manufacturing Ops on identifying potential solutions.
• Follow strict compliance to Standard Operating Procedures.
