Job summary

GIC is seeking a VP Risk & Controls Officer to strengthen technology risk governance and control frameworks across global investments and corporate operations. You will partner with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to embed resilient controls, oversee incident management, and drive risk visibility at senior levels.

The role focuses on First Line risk, with collaboration across Risk and Internal Audit, ensuring alignment with COSO/COBIT frameworks and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• Certifications such as CISA/CRISC/CISSP are advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years in technology risk, IT controls, or IT audit within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with technology teams to identify, assess, and manage risks across systems and changes.
• Provide risk input into architecture, system design, and major programs.
• Design and embed controls across the technology lifecycle and delivery workflows.
• Develop KRIs and risk dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Oversee resilience, incident management, and root-cause analyses.
• Engage with vendors and service providers for third-party risk governance.
• Coordinate between Technology, Risk, and Internal Audit.
