Job summary

GIC Private Limited, based in Singapore, seeks a VP/SVP level Risk & Controls Officer within the Technology Group. The role embeds in the technology function to strengthen risk and control practices across investment and corporate units, aligning with first and second line responsibilities.

You will partner with engineers and platform teams to embed robust controls throughout the SDLC, manage incidents, and drive risk reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, CS, Finance, or related field.
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP are advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years in technology risk, IT controls, or IT audit in financial services.
• Experience collaborating with technology/engineering teams.
• Knowledge of control frameworks (COSO/COBIT).

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and platform teams to identify, assess, and manage technology risks across systems and changes.
• Design and embed controls across the technology lifecycle (SDLC, change management, access controls, data governance).
• Oversee incident management, resilience, recovery, and remediation of control gaps.
• Develop and monitor KRIs and risk dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Engage with third‑party governance and risk assessments across vendors.
