Job summary

GIC Private Limited seeks a VP/SVP Risk & Controls Officer to embed within Technology, driving risk governance and controls across the SDLC for investment and corporate units. You will lead audits and CAPA remediation to strengthen the first line of defence.

The role requires expertise in COSO/COBIT, IT risk, and cross-team collaboration with engineering and platform teams to ensure secure, resilient operations and robust risk reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in technology risk, IT controls, operational risk, governance, IT operations, or IT audit within financial services.
• Strong understanding of incident, problem, change management and audit processes; documentation governance and control testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident and problem management across technology, coordinating with all divisions to maintain risk discipline.
• Develop and maintain policies, standards, and SOPs; ensure version control and accessibility for the tech function.
• Design and embed controls across the technology lifecycle (SDLC, access, data governance) and validate adherence to governance processes.
• Support system resilience, disaster recovery, and service continuity frameworks.
• Develop KRIs and KCIs, produce dashboards for senior stakeholders, and highlight emerging risks.
