Job summary

EXELA BIOSCIENCE PTE. LTD. seeks a strategic VP of Business Development to lead high-impact transactions across Oncology, Hematology, and Orphan Drugs.

You will drive corporate development, including in-licensing, out-licensing, and joint ventures, leveraging deep scientific insight and global industry networks. The role requires extensive experience, expert negotiation, and a strong financial acumen to expand portfolio leadership and partner value across SEA, CIS, and MENA regions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or related field.
• MBA is desirable for strategic finance and deal-making.
• 15+ years in biotech/pharma with 10+ in BD/Corporate Development.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement global Business Development strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Structure and negotiate terms for transactions (M&A, licensing, partnerships).
• Lead financial modelling (rNPV, DCF) to support investment cases.
• Build and develop a high-performing BD team and manage the BD budget.
