Job summary

Digital Edge Data Center is seeking a VP, Power Procurement to lead grid power sourcing, renewables integration, and complex energy contracts across Asia Pacific from Singapore. The role focuses on securing cost-efficient electricity, negotiating with utilities, and driving sustainability through PPAs, VPPAs, and energy storage initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor credential required; focus on energy procurement or related field in APAC preferred.
Experience negotiating PPAs and VPPAs with energy providers in APAC.
Strong stakeholder management and strategic procurement capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to secure reliable electricity supply for data centers across Asia Pacific.
Negotiate energy terms with utilities and local suppliers for operational facilities and new developments.
Coordinate site selection, due diligence, energization schedules and business planning.
Drive energy contracts, quota negotiations, and governance aligned with ESG targets.
Lead adoption of PPAs, VPPAs, on-site renewables and battery storage.
Monitor energy procurement KPIs and report on carbon intensity and costs.
