Job summary

Gunvor Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Power Origination Analyst to support the Head of APAC Power Trading and Origination in originating, analyzing, structuring and executing power transactions across the region.

Based in Singapore, you will own opportunities, lead counterparties discussions and foster market relationships. The role requires 5–7 years in gas, renewables or power, with strong analytical, modelling and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

University degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent.
Between 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in gas, renewables or power sectors.
Strong understanding of wholesale power markets and related products.

Responsibilities

Support APAC Power origination strategy and maintain an active counterparty pipeline.
Originate and evaluate opportunities across renewable energy, BESS, and related products.
Lead defined commercial discussions, including term sheets and negotiations.
Develop relationships with generators, developers, utilities, and investors.
Prepare market analysis, proposals, term sheets, and transactional material.
Build and maintain models for pricing, portfolio management, and demand response.
Provide analytical support for hedging, risk assessment, and monetisation.
Assist transaction execution from engagement to long-form documentation.
Coordinate with Risk, Legal, Credit, Finance, Tax, Compliance, and Ops teams.
Monitor APAC power market fundamentals and translate to portfolio insights.
