Responsibilities

• Project Management (End-to-End): Manage full lifecycle of regional projects from initiation to closure, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, plans, resources, timelines and budgets.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across operations, business units, IT and regional partners to ensure alignment and outcomes.
• Digital Solution Implementation: Drive implementation and enhancement of digital solutions to meet business needs and improve customer experience.
• Innovating the future of work by deploying AI-first digital platforms to accelerate mobility, collaboration and high-performance employee experiences.
• Regional Connectivity & Expansion: Support expansion of regional system functionalities/services across markets, understanding local regulations and needs.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects across various markets in the Asia Pacific region. You will play a crucial part in enhancing our digital offerings, improving both external and internal customer experience, and ensuring seamless integration of our services.

Responsibilities

• Project Management (End-to-End): Manage the full lifecycle of regional projects from initiation to closure. This includes defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, developing detailed project plans, and managing project resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including Operation, business units GTS, IBG COO Office, IT teams, regional partners, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Digital Solution Implementation: Drive the implementation and enhancement of digital solutions. Ensure these solutions meet business needs and contribute to operational efficiency and improved customer experience.
• Innovating the future of work by deploying AI-first digital platforms to accelerate mobility, seamless collaboration, and high-performance employee experiences across the enterprise.
• Regional Connectivity & Expansion: Support the expansion of regional system functionalities/services across various markets, understanding local regulations and market needs.
• Process Improvement & Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, enhancing efficiency for both the bank and its clients. This includes improving cash management, liquidity management, and reconciliation processes through digital tools and reporting capabilities. Embrace in Gen AI technology such as Agentic Ai.
• Risk and Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Reporting & Analysis: Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and provide regular updates and reports to management. Utilize data and analytics to inform project decisions and measure impact.

Requirements

• Proven experience in end-to-end project management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on digital platforms or regional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of bank systems is a plus e.g. IBPM or equivalent workflow systems, Core Bank Systems such as CMCP, Finacle, C++, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders across different geographical locations.
• Drive innovation and creativity — build a culture where employees challenge existing ways of working, generate ideas and experiment with new approaches.
• Discover opportunities — work closely with business and Operations teams to uncover pain points, manual processes and opportunities for simplification and digitisation.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the financial sector.
• Create an innovation ecosystem — connect teams across functions and geographies, share reusable solutions and prevent different teams from solving the same problem independently.
• Drive an innovation-led and AI-enabled transformation agenda by identifying opportunities to reimagine how work is done, fostering creativity and experimentation, and translating business challenges into scalable digital and AI solutions.
• Ensure responsible innovation — work with Risk, Compliance, Data and Technology to ensure AI solutions meet governance, security and responsible-AI requirements
