Job summary

Citi is seeking a Digital Software Engineering Senior Manager in Singapore to lead a professional team, shaping software strategy and governance. You will drive delivery, implement scalable architectures, and ensure high-quality/secure code across mobile and web platforms.

You will mentor talent, oversee budgeting and resource planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align releases with business goals. This role demands senior leadership and deep technical acumen.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role or senior level experience in an Enterprise Architecture role.
• Demonstrated expertise in Java and Angular development.
• Exhibit expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, PCF, Akamai) and broad technology patterns.
• Lead resources and serve as SME across the company with algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, networking.
• Know how to automate code quality, performance, unit testing, and build processing in CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Possess the ability to continuously build a network of talent inside and outside of Citi.
• Mentor and onboard new talent.
• Coach and give feedback to direct reports to develop talent.
• Apply performance standards and balance goals across team to optimize performance.
• Design, implement, and deploy software components and solve difficult problems.
• Understand development approaches and apply them effectively.
• Deliver high-quality, secure, testable, maintainable software with strong code reviews.
• Lead mobile application release lifecycle with robust gates and CI/CD
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage and resolve defects pre-production
• Align release strategies with business goals and drive CI/CD improvements
• Improve team development and testing processes.
• Maintain good working relationships and resolve discordant views constructively
• Train new teammates about customers, product, and systems
• Assess risk and uphold Citi’s reputation and compliance standards.
