Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) invites a VP of Data Products & Innovation to design, build and deliver the bank’s enterprise data products and Data-as-a-Service. You will transform priority data assets into trusted, governed, reusable data products that enable analytics, AI, reporting, and measurable value across the Group.

You will work with business units, data engineering, governance, risk, and innovation teams to translate needs into scalable use cases, oversee delivery and adoption, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise data applications and analytics enablement.
• Proven track record leading enterprise-scale data initiatives in banking or regulated environments.
• Strong experience building data products and self-service analytics platforms.
• Ability to partner with senior stakeholders to shape demand and drive measurable outcomes.
• Deep understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, access controls, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of enterprise Data Products and Data-as-a-Service aligned to business priorities.
• Define data product operating model, ownership, lifecycle, and value tracking.
• Collaborate with business units to shape use cases with clear objectives and benefits.
• Oversee delivery and publication of datasets for reporting, analytics, and AI.
• Ensure data products are secure, documented, and governed with proper access controls.
• Build and sustain data product CoE, adoption frameworks, and governance guidance.
