Job summary

DBS Bank is seeking to Lead the end user services engineering team from DBS Asia Hub to shape the strategy, architecture, and lifecycle of enterprise endpoint platforms. You will drive secure, resilient endpoint services while guiding modernization initiatives and aligning with business priorities.

You will oversee SOE governance, platform upgrades, and security controls, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with infrastructure, security and business teams to ensure reliable IT services.

Qualifications

• Endpoint engineering experience for Windows and MacOS; SOE design and lifecycle management.
• Experience evaluating new technologies and deploying them with minimal disruption.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools; able to drive IT projects.
• Excellent communication in English; able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience in banking environment is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent.

Job Role

Lead the end user service engineering, with accountability for the strategy, architecture, engineering, governance and lifecycle management of enterprise endpoint platforms in delivering secure, resilient, and compliant endpoint services while driving technology modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define the end user services engineering and multi year roadmap, aligned to business priorities, technology standards .
• Lead engineering teams in the delivery of Windows and MacOS endpoint services, security controls, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Establish and maintain Standard Operating Environment (SOE) governance, change management, and problem management frameworks. Act as the gatekeeper for SOE changes and governance activities
• Oversee audit responses, risk remediation activities, and compliance requirements.
• Drive endpoint security initiatives such as application control, operating system lifecycle management, and Windows/MacOS platform hardening.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to ensure service reliability and operational excellence.
• Lead, coach and develop a high performing team of endpoint engineers and provide technical guidance to the team for end user computing guidance.

• Deep technical knowledge of endpoint engineer for Windows and MacOS, SOE design, configuration management, lifecycle management of endpoint from provisioning, maintenance to decommission.
• Experience with conducting research into emerging technologies and applying research to business; skilled in comprehensive testing of new technologies to ensure problem free deployment to users.
• Excellent analytical, management and planning skills
• Knowledge of program and project management methodologies and tools; track record of success in managing IT projects; effective problem solving abilities; motivated to develop creative solutions to common processes or problems
• Able to work independently and as a team
• English speaking and good communication skills.
• Providing systems support and implementation, include regional support.
• Experience in working in banking environment is preferred
• Possess the verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (or similar) OR combination of relevant professional experience and education.
