Job summary

DBS Bank is seeking a Senior Technology Leader to drive the technology vision, architecture, and delivery strategy for the Corporate Internet Banking Platform in Singapore. You will provide technical leadership across Payments, Accounts, Entitlements, Notifications, Approvals, Dashboards and Shared Services, ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Lead architecture reviews, mentor domain leads and engineering teams, and promote engineering excellence through Microservices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of software engineering experience with at least 8 years in senior technology leadership within banking or financial services.
• Strong experience delivering Corporate Internet Banking, Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Payments or Digital Banking platforms.
• Proven experience leading large engineering organizations responsible for architecture, design, development and delivery of enterprise-scale applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, Kafka / event streaming platforms, SQL and NoSQL Databases, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture, frontend integration patterns and modern web application frameworks.
• Deep expertise in Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, API-First Design, Domain Driven Design (DDD), DevSecOps and Cloud-Native Platforms.
• Strong understanding of banking workflows including Payments, Accounts, Entitlements, Approvals, Notifications, Audit Trails and Transaction Lifecycle Management.
• Experience leading architecture governance, code quality reviews, engineering transformation and enterprise-wide technology modernization initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub / Bitbucket, SonarQube, JIRA; cloud-native deployment practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior business and technology leaders.
• Experience with AI-assisted software engineering tools including Claude Code, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Agentic AI platforms and AI-driven code review solutions.
• Experience in Agile software delivery methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and DevOps operating models.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud, Architecture, Security, Agile or AI Engineering are an added advantage.
