Job summary

GIC Private Limited invites a seasoned VP, Data Centre Facility Manager to lead the safe, secure, and resilient Day 2 operations of global data centres, SCRs, and storage. This role defines governance, operating standards, and controls, ensuring audit readiness and stable performance while collaborating with DC Project Managers and external vendors.

Expect oversight of KPIs, templates, and cross-functional partnerships for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Experience with data centre operations governance and Day 2 activities.
• Proven ability to manage design reviews, handovers, and transition to BAU.
• Knowledge of power, cooling, and PUE in modern data centres.
• Familiarity with audits, compliance, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Define operational readiness criteria for new data centre delivery.
• Lead Day 2 operations governance and escalation.
• Oversee capacity planning, asset lifecycle, and inventory controls.
• Ensure security, access controls, and audit readiness across DC sites.
• Partner with project managers and vendors to ensure seamless transitions to BAU.
