Job summary

GIC seeks a seasoned VP to lead Windows Server and private cloud operations, setting technical direction, platform strategy, and ensuring resilience across enterprise infrastructure. You will drive major upgrades, automation, and incident response, while coordinating with Cybersecurity and Audit teams.

You will manage an L3 escalation point, oversee an outsourced L2 partner, and mentor a team in a regulated financial environment, working from the Tampines Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 10+ years' experience in enterprise Windows Server infrastructure with significant leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading large-scale Windows Server upgrades and migration programmes.
• Deep expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI, SCCM, SCOM, Failover Clustering, VMware, Nutanix/vSAN, Citrix, and PowerShell.
• Strong experience in backup, disaster recovery, ITSM, ServiceNow, change governance, and operational excellence.
• Experience managing outsourced or managed service providers and acting as the senior technical escalation point.
• Familiarity with automation (Ansible/PowerShell), CIS/NIST security frameworks, and public cloud (AWS/Azure) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Windows Server and private cloud operations, defining standards and platform strategy.
• Serve as the senior L3 escalation point for complex incidents and problem management.
• Own enterprise platforms including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI, SCCM/MECM, SCOM, VMware, Nutanix/vSAN, Citrix, and related services.
• Lead Windows Server lifecycle management, upgrades, and migration programmes.
• Direct the outsourced L2 service provider by setting runbooks and service quality expectations.
• Govern ITSM processes, change management, KPIs, and service performance.
• Drive patching, backup, DR, vulnerability remediation, and platform resilience.
• Define identity and Windows security standards with Cybersecurity/Audit teams.
• Promote automation with PowerShell and Ansible, evaluate new technologies.
• Mentor and develop the team with stakeholders across applications, networks, security, and infra.
