Job summary

GIC is seeking a SVP, Network Engineering & Data Centre Lead to shape the global network strategy, architecture, and security posture across on‑premises, co‑location, and multi‑cloud environments. You will lead a distributed engineering organization delivering an AI‑enabled, Zero‑Trust platform that underpins all GIC workloads.

You will drive governance, automation, and secure by design principles, building a high‑performing team and aligning investments with enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of global network engineering experience.
• Proven track record as Global Head / Director.
• Advanced knowledge of SD‑WAN, SASE, BGP, IPv6, Zero Trust.
• Experience in Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation tools.
• Certifications: CCIE, CISSP, AWS/Azure Architect, TOGAF.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi‑year network strategy aligned with technology and business goals.
• Lead architecture and engineering for secure, scalable infrastructure globally.
• Oversee data centre lifecycle, interconnects, and hybrid cloud fabric engineering.
• Drive operations, resilience, and AI‑enabled monitoring and automation.
• Embed risk, compliance, and security into delivery pipelines and audits.
