Job summary

SMBC Group in Singapore seeks a Finance Business Partner to lead financial performance analysis across APAC. You will manage budgets, forecasts and KPI tracking, partnering with Relationship Managers and diverse teams to identify growth opportunities and drive profitability.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and fluency in English and Japanese to liaise with our Tokyo office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in business management, strategic planning or financial planning & analysis.
Strong financial & analytical capabilities in budgeting and forecasting.
Good understanding of banking businesses and profitability drivers.
Fluent English and Japanese; able to communicate with Tokyo office.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor financial performance and KPI, including budgets, forecasts and resource allocation.
Identify variances and provide insights to support management decisions.
Support initiatives to enhance profitability and business performance through financial analysis.
Partner with Relationship Managers and business teams to identify revenue growth and cost optimization opportunities.
Coordinate with senior management and planning departments to align priorities and drive initiatives.
Translate strategic direction into actionable initiatives and ensure delivery across APAC.
