Job summary

SUMITOMO MITSUI BANKING CORPORATION SINGAPORE BRANCH is seeking a strategy-focused professional to manage CBAP across APAC, overseeing financial performance, profitability and strategic initiatives. You will translate management direction into actionable plans and coordinate with senior stakeholders to drive cross-functional delivery.

The role requires strong analytical skills, budgeting, forecasting and KPI tracking, with fluency in English and Japanese.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
Strong financial and analytical capabilities with budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking and financial performance analysis.
Good understanding of banking businesses and profitability management.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with senior management and cross-functional teams.
Ability to translate financial and business data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Business fluency in English and Japanese is essential for communication with Tokyo office.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor financial performance and key performance indicators, including budgets, actual results, forecasts and resource allocation.
Track performance against targets, identify variances and provide insights to support management decision-making.
Partner with Relationship Managers and business teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization and improved returns.
Coordinate and negotiate across functions to drive timely execution of key business initiatives.
Support development and execution of strategic plans and priorities across APAC.
