Job summary

WUXI XDC Singapore Private Limited invites applications for a Pharmaceutical Visual Inspection & Packaging Technician with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will perform manual and automated visual inspection, operate packaging lines, and ensure GMP and safety compliance.

Experience with automated visual inspection systems and familiarity with Marchesini Group (MG) packaging lines is highly preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform manual visual inspection of primary packaging for defects (particles, cracks, discoloration, fill).

• Document inspection results and report deviations per SOPs.
• Operate/monitor automatic packaging lines and assist in line setup and changeovers.
• Support labeling and packaging activities as required.
• Train teammates on visual inspection techniques and GMP requirements.

Visual Inspection & Packaging Technician

Location: 2 Tuas View Drive, Singapore 639059

Reports to: Senior Manager, DP Operation

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Visual Inspection & Packaging Technician with 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing manual and automated visual inspection of pharmaceutical products, operating and supporting packaging lines, and ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards. Experience with automated visual inspection systems and familiarity with manual labelling and packaging and automatic packaging equipment, especially MG (Marchesini Group) or similar lines, will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

Visual Inspection & Packaging

• Perform manual visual inspection of vials, syringes, or other primary packaging for defects such as particles, cracks, discoloration, and fill volume issues.


• Operate automated visual inspection machines and monitor performance to ensure product quality.


• Document inspection results and report any deviations or quality issues in accordance with SOPs.


• Operate and monitor automatic packaging line.


• Assist in packaging line setup, CQV activities and changeovers to ensure efficient production runs.


• Support in manual labelling and packaging of products if required.


• Experience with Marchesini Group( MG) packaging lines is highly preferred.

Production Support & Compliance:

• Perform daily cleaning and clearance of work areas and equipment to maintain GMP compliance.


• Handle material dispensing, stockkeeping, and reconciliation for visual inspection and packaging processes.


• Support troubleshooting of equipment failures and collaborate with maintenance/engineering teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.


• Complete batch records, logbooks, and inspection reports accurately and in a timely manner.


• Participate in quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions as needed.


• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines at all times.


• Train new team members on visual inspection techniques, equipment operation, and GMP requirements.


• Any other duties as and when assigned by the Manager or supervisor.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Strictly adhere to SOPs and EHS protocols (cleanroom gowning, sanitization procedures)


• Support the revise of relevant operating procedures and related files in accordance with GMP requirements

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of relevant experiences in visual inspection and packaging.


• Diploma or higher in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Pharmacy, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or related fields.


• Strong English language skills and the ability to proactively analyze and solve problems that arise in the workplace.


• Good communication and expression skills.


• Effective team collaboration, efficient execution, and a strong sense of responsibility.


• Flexibility to work on day, afternoon, or night shifts, and on weekends as part of shift rotations, depending on production scheduling needs.
