PERSOL is seeking a skilled vision systems engineer to develop and maintain measurement and defect inspection applications. You will configure host PCs, cameras, and motion control, and support field engineers and clients on technical issues.
The role requires 2+ years in vision applications, experience with OpenCV, HALCON, and Cognex VisionPro, plus programming in C++/C#/Python. Travel to client sites is expected as part of the job.
Develop, analyze, and maintain a range of vision applications including measurement and defect inspection.
Select, procure, install, and maintain vision-related components based on application needs.
Configure vision systems including host PCs, cameras, and motion control for optimal performance.
Provide technical support to field service engineers and clients.
Evaluate and establish system performance specifications, prepare technical documentation, and conduct training.
Implement new vision technologies into relevant projects.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in vision applications.
Knowledge of vision and optical inspection systems.
HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or CognexVisionPro is preferred.
Proficiency in programming languages related to vision applications (e.g., C++, C#, Python).
Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interfaces.
Familiarity with deep learning-based vision solutions is advantageous.
Willingness and ability to travel.
