Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd is seeking a Vision Solution Engineer to develop and optimize vision systems for inspection, measurement, and defect detection. You will configure hardware and software, provide technical support, and assess system performance in real projects.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with OpenCV, HALCON, Cognex VisionPro, or HIK and hold at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2+ years in vision applications.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least 2 years of vision experience.
• Experience with vision and optical inspection systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages used for vision applications (C++, C#, Python).
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, RS-232 and camera interfaces is advantageous.
• Knowledge of deep learning-based vision solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain vision applications such as measurement and defect inspection.
• Decide on selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance of vision components (PCs, cameras, lighting).
• Configure vision systems including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and interfaces.
• Work with vision software libraries/frameworks like OpenCV, HALCON, Cognex VisionPro, or HIK.
• Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
• Evaluate vision system performance specifications and prepare technical documentation and training.
• Explore and implement new vision technologies in projects.
