Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a software engineer to join our automation team. You will design, develop, and implement software for AI-driven automated optical inspection systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes C/C++ development for multi-threaded Windows applications, with Visual C++ preferred. You will support field service engineers, optimize software performance, and build expertise in motion control, machine vision, and automation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or CS with 1–3 years of experience.
• Proficient in C/C++, experience with multi-threaded Windows apps (Visual C++ preferred).
• Knowledge of electronics, motion control, and hardware interfacing is a plus.
• Automation/machine vision or semiconductor industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with 1 to3 years of experience. Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, with hands-on experience in multi-threaded Windows applications (Visual C++ preferred).
• Basic understanding of electronics, motion control, and hardware interfacing.
• Strong mathematics and algorithm design skills.
• Experience in automation systems or the semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn new technologies.
