Job summary

TikTok’s Trust & Safety team seeks a Policy Manager in Singapore to own the modularization and structure of policy text, ensuring definitions hold under volume and alignment with enforcement. You will collaborate with policy, product, engineering and data science teams to drive consistent application.

The role focuses on precise writing, definition, and cross-team coordination, spanning content risks and AI-enabled enforcement. It requires strong judgment and multilingual collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in policy, regulatory, or governance roles in tech/government/law.
• Experience turning policy into concrete standards and guidance.
• Excellent written communication for internal audiences.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to learn new topics quickly.
• Sound judgment under ambiguity with solid justification.
• Ability to work in dynamic environments and align cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking partners.

Responsibilities

• Build governance policy framework workflows and maintain the policy framework as the source of truth.
• Translate policy intent into applied standards, including decision logic and edge-case treatment.
• Measure enforcement alignment with policy intent and derive actionable corrective paths.
• Audit and arbitrate by reviewing guidelines and materials against policy intent and provide interpretation guidance.
• Drive change management by tracking policy changes and ensuring downstream applicability across teams.
