Job summary

PineBridge Investments Singapore Limited seeks a seasoned communications leader to guide EMEA/APAC strategy, shaping messaging for global audiences and engaging senior leadership across business lines.

Lead cross-border media relations, manage external agencies, and coordinate with regional marketing teams to amplify Thought Leadership and digital channels. Strong English, 12+ years in financial services comms are required.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic credentials, as well as research, comprehension, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Top-tier English language skills (written and verbal) required.
  • 12+ years of relevant financial services communications experience (in-house and/or agency).
  • Extensive experience working with EMEA & APAC stakeholders to drive communications outcomes.
  • Executive presence and experience working with senior leadership.
  • Experience of working with both EMEA & APAC PR agencies and media is essential.
  • Extensive international media relations experience, including with top tier and trade media.
  • Good judgment and comfort operating in an environment with regulatory, reputational, and business risk considerations; ability to manage highly sensitive, confidential information.
  • Understanding of unique communications and regulatory requirements of alternative investment communications.
  • Understanding of strategic content development and how to tailor for different markets in both EMEA & APAC.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear communications for a range of key audiences.
  • Collaborative, team-first approach; ability to operate effectively in a lean environment.
  • Ability to work across borders, cultures and time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain communications function across EMEA/APAC, providing council and strategic support to senior leadership and stakeholders across business lines.
  • Support Global communications function and ensure EMEA/APAC regional activity develops in line with Global strategy.
  • Design and execute communications strategy and activity focused on target EMEA & APAC markets to highlight the capabilities and differentiators of the expanded MIM platform.
  • Strategy and execution including: Messaging development, Senior Leadership & firm profiling, targeted asset class communications, alternatives communications, corporate & people news, thought leadership.
  • Ensure EMEA/APAC activity is closely tailored to the firm’s objectives, as well as providing overall team management support.
  • Managing EMEA/APAC agency partners to optimize their activity and ensuring an integrated and coordinated approach.
  • Engage directly with EMEA/APAC media and industry stakeholders as required.
  • Develop communications strategies and supporting materials for internal and external stakeholders, including messaging, communications materials and Q&As.
  • Maintain Crisis and Issues-Management process and preparation.
  • Develop and execute internal communications strategy to engage employees and develop buy-in for the One MIM platform & firm values. Strategic delivery of regional Town Halls, leadership updates, change communications.
  • Support regional marketing teams’ activity, including thought leadership, content deployment, social media and broader marketing activity.
  • Provide input regarding the firm’s digital channels with the digital team to leverage communications activities.
  • Develop measurement and reporting - leverage findings to inform future communications strategies.
  • Support budget, operational and resource planning to prioritize resources.

Job description
