Job summary

PIMCO in Singapore is offering a 10-week Summer Internship as an Account Analyst for APAC, starting mid-year. You will support investment professionals, analyze economic trends, and deliver attribution analyses to account managers.

The role provides hands-on exposure to portfolio discussions and client service in a fast-paced environment. You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, strengthen Excel and PowerPoint skills, and participate in mentorship, networking and relocation

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree with expected graduation 2027–2028.
• Business proficient in English; additional Asian languages a plus.
• Willing to begin full-time employment between Jan 2028 and Aug 2028.

Responsibilities

• Support servicing of institutional clients and wealth management.
• Gather, analyze economic and market trends; discuss with portfolio teams.

Internship opportunities are based across APAC offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Taiwan.

You Are Eligible To Apply If You

• Are a currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master’s degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028
• Must be able to beginfull timeemployment at a PIMCO office betweenJanuary 2028– August 2028
• On track to achieve a minimumbachelor’sdegree (or equivalent)
• Are business proficient in English.Proficiencyin any Asian languages will be a plus
• Availability to commit fully to the internship for the full program duration

• Show strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance.
• Possess proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Show ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Show outstanding communication skills which enable them to operate in a complex financial and mathematical environment.
• Possess a passion for process enhancement through technology enablement (e.g. AI, programming, data modelling)

You’ll serve in a dynamic role, responsible for supporting the servicing of PIMCO's Institutional clients and/or Global Wealth Management (GWM) businesses. Your primary responsibility will be to support PIMCO's investment professionals to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to our clients. During your internship, you will gather, analyze and discuss economic and market trends, evaluate portfolio structures, deliver attribution analyses to Account Managers and their clients, and support business development activities in the region.

The PIMCO Internship Experience

• The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program.
