Job summary

RONGZHEN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Operations Manager to support the General Manager in directing company operations and strategic development across construction projects in Singapore.

You will coordinate project managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, monitor progress and costs, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and maintain strong relationships with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Relevant working experience in construction industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in overseeing overall operations and management.
• Support business planning and development.
• Oversee construction projects and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, manpower, costs, and performance.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing the overall operations and management of the company.
• Support business planning, company development and implementation of management strategies.
• Oversee construction projects and coordinate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, costs and operational performance.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and in accordance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant government authorities.
• Manage and supervise employees and ensure smooth coordination between different departments.
• Assist in resolving operational, project and manpower-related issues.
• Support business development and maintain good relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Prepare and review management reports, project reports and other relevant documentation.
• Perform other management duties assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Relevant working experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in management, project coordination or construction operations is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction industry practices and regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
