Job summary

LINGY CONSTRUCTION TRADING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a seasoned construction operations leader to oversee daily activities, coordinate workforce and manage multiple civil projects.

You will drive tendering, client relations and cost control while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across sites. The role requires strong bilingual communication (English and Chinese) and solid experience in project management, with a focus on foundation works or major civil developments.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Chinese with strong communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction and civil engineering principles and methods.
• Relevant management experience in construction, civil engineering or related industry.

• Experience in project management, cost control, contract and subcontractor management.

• Knowledge of Singapore construction regulations is an advantage.

2. Manage construction and civil engineering projects, including schedule, quality, cost and safety.
3. Liaise with clients, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.
4. Lead business development, client acquisition and new project opportunities, including tenders and commercial negotiations.
5. Manage project contracts, procurement, subcontracting and cost control.
6. Supervise employees and site teams, including manpower planning and performance.
7. Ensure company and project activities comply with relevant Singapore construction, safety and manpower regulations.
8. Report business and project performance to the Directors and support the company's business strategy.

Requirements

1. Fluent in both English and Chinese, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
2. Strong knowledge of construction and civil engineering, including construction methods and technical requirements.
3. Relevant management experience in construction, civil engineering or a related industry.
4. Strong business development, client management and commercial negotiation skills.

7. Knowledge of the Singapore construction industry and relevant regulations will be an advantage.
