Job summary

POINT VETERINARY SURGERY in Singapore is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our busy clinic. You will handle incoming calls and emails, assist to register patients, and schedule appointments and admissions while supporting treatments.

You will also manage invoicing, stock, and administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and liaise with customers and vendors. A love for animals and good communication are essential; Jurong West location with variable hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary or animal care is a plus.
• Willing to work in Jurong West.

Responsibilities

• Handle calls, emails and inquiries and assist to register patients.
• Assist in handling and restraining animals during consultations and treatments.
• Schedule appointments, admissions and follow-ups.
• Invoicing, dispensing medications and provide basic advice on animal care, nutrition and point-treatment care.
• Administrative tasks including filing, data entry, stock replenishment for reception display, stock check and document preparation (eg, issue certificates, print labels etc).
• Maintain accurate up-to-date customers' records and ensuring confidentiality of information
• Liaise with customers and vendors to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor and oversee payments of invoices/bills
• Oversee office equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues (NETS machine, printer, etc)
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and hygiene at all times
• Follow safety protocols for handling animals and medical waste
• Support miscellaneous duties as and when required
