Job summary

CULines International Shipping Agency Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager, Space Management to optimize vessel capacity and space utilisation across assigned services and trade lanes.

You will forecast demand, allocate space and collaborate with Commercial, Operations and overseas offices to maximise utilisation and revenue. Responsibilities include space planning, booking forecasts, reporting, and coordinating with Trade Management, Customer Service and vessel operations to ensure feasible

Qualifications

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Business or related discipline with 4–5 years of relevant space management experience.
• Experience in vessel space planning, allocation and utilization analysis.
• Understanding TEU capacity, weight restrictions and port rotations.
• Strong coordination and analytical skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vessel capacity and space across assigned services and voyages.
• Prepare weekly/rolling space forecasts and allocation plans.
• Allocate vessel space among customers, trade lanes, origins/destinations and services.
• Track TEU, weight and space utilisation by vessel, voyage and service.
• Provide space availability, allocation and booking forecasts to Commercial teams.
• Coordinate with Trade Management, Commercial, Operations and Customer Service.
• Prepare weekly/monthly space utilisation and performance reports.
• Develop SOPs for space management and process improvements.
• Act as liaison between Singapore HQ, overseas offices and relevant operational teams.
