Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in shipping agency, vessel operations, port operations, or maritime logistics.
• Knowledge of port call processes, vessel documentation, customs and immigration procedures, and maritime regulations.
• Experience with MPA Digiport, pilotage bookings, and vessel clearance procedures will be an advantage.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop customer relationships and identify business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple parties.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new customers to grow agency business.
• Manage end-to-end port call operations from pre-arrival to FDA closure.
• Handle vessel clearance requirements, ICA applications, pilotage bookings, and MPA Digiport submissions.
• Prepare quotations and tailor solutions for customer needs.
• Monitor vessel movements and update principals and stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with principals through proactive communication.
• Ensure compliance with ships agency procedures and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate crew changes, technician boarding, and vessel support activities.
• Oversee delivery of ship spares, stores, and provisions.
• Liaise with port authorities and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor costs and drive cost-effective solutions while preserving service quality.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all operational documentation.
• Support additional shipping agency activities as required.
