Job summary

The Kallang Group is seeking a Venue Operations Manager for the Water Sports Centre. You will oversee overall operations and events, manage staff, coordinate activities, and ensure customer satisfaction while upholding safety and efficiency across the venue.

You will work closely with clients, vendors and internal teams to deliver exceptional experiences for patrons and event hirers. Key responsibilities include leading frontline staff, updating policies, coordinating community and elite level

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or better preferred but not essential.
• Previous supervisory role in sports/leisure facility is common.
• 4–6 years’ experience in sports and leisure industry; event management experience preferred.
• First Aid and AED certification will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and update the Concept of Operations for the Water Sports Centre through research, partner coordination, and administration.
• Lead a team of staff on day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate events and liaise with clients, tenants, promoters and other stakeholders.
• Ensure health and safety policies and regulations are adhered to and reflected in actions.
• Plan and deliver events and community sports/leisure programs.
• Prepare documentation and information for staff, management, and clients to service all client groups entering The Kallang.
